Law and Humanities Minor

The interdisciplinary Law and Humanities minor, for students considering law school, is designed to foster a deep understanding of the foundations of legal systems.

This program highlights the rich and varied ways in which the law interacts with the liberal arts and humanistic disciplines. Many of the courses offered examine the connections between law and other disciplines, such as classics, philosophy, political science, religious studies and sociology.

You’ll gain skills in analytical and logical reasoning, writing and research, which will prepare you for advanced study as well as a number of careers in the legal profession.
