Each academic year, UNITAS awards its Diversity Leadership Award to a Union College Senior. Eligible seniors must first be nominated by a current union College faculty, staff or student. All nominations must include two letters of recommendation from a faculty or staff member, (The nomination letter, if from a faculty or staff member, may serve as one of the letters of recommendation). Additional letters of support from any member of the College community are optional.
The UNITAS Diversity Leadership Award is given to one of the nominated graduating seniors, as determined by the UNITAS Diversity Committee. The chosen individual must best demonstrate an active and consistent dedication too initiating, leading, promoting or organizing events or activities on campus that support greater multicultural enrichment and fellowship amongst a diverse campus constituency.
