Three students receive Gilman scholarships


Three students recently received grants from the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program to help fund their terms abroad.

Ralph Cueva ’13 will receive $3,000 to attend a term abroad in China. Lucas Rivers ’15 will receive $5,000 to also travel to China. Jasmine Roth ’14 received $3,000 to travel to Vietnam.

More than 850 undergraduate students from 324 colleges and universities across the United States were selected for the scholarships, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs. The program is administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE).
