- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop inbound leads and target accounts to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
- Interact with prospects via telephone and email
- Become a trusted resource and advisor to our prospective customers
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest to stimulate opportunity
- Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
- Update lead information, and manage leads in salesforce.com
- Consistently meet or exceed qualified opportunity quotas to ensure revenue objectives
- Provide feedback to ensure continuous process optimization

- College degree or equivalent work experience

- Sales training and salesforce.com experience a plus

- Infrastructure software or middleware sales/marketing experience a major plus

- Excellent lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels a major plus
