Under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Institutional Services for Mail and Rapid Copy Services, the Senior Staff Assistant is responsible for the daily oversight of Mail Services and Rapid Copy Services. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing daily staff assignments to ensure adequate coverage Reviewing and approving time off requests and attendance records Preparing and processing performance programs and evaluations Rectifying personnel issues as they arise Financial Responsibilities:
Oversight of billing operations, petty cash, revenue deposits, budget preparation and account reconciliation Administrative Responsibilities:
Inventory management of stock and supplies, management, negotiation and reconciliation of maintenance support agreements and other contracted service agreements Additional responsibilities include: support of all operational software systems, personnel transactions and training, internal control oversight, audit, prepare, monitor and reconcile data from various accounts and communication with interested parties and take responsibility for the oversight and administration of the units in the absence of the Assistant Director.
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization - Three years of progressively responsible experience in a quick copy, mail services and/or office stores environment and supervisory experience - Strong organizational, decision making and communication skills - Applicants must address in their applications their ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
- Master's degree from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization - Five years of progressively responsible experience in a quick copy, mail services and/or office stores environment - Experience working as a supervisor in a customer service environment
