Grant Hall

STOP 1 ON THE:

A welcoming space

Grant Hall, located just inside the main campus entrance at Payne Gate, is home to the offices of Admissions and Financial Aid. Here’s where you can set up tours and interviews, get information about open houses and learn how to finance a Union education. The building dates to 1898 and features a parlor with fireplace and grand wraparound porch with Adirondack rockers, some of the best seats on campus. The adjacent Stanley O’Brien ’74 Center for Collaboration and Engagement is a conference center and meeting space.

Factoid: Grant Hall is the oldest surviving structure on campus originally constructed as a fraternity house and still has the Alpha Delta Phi crest on the front face of the building.
