Electrical Engineering

About the Electrical Engineering major

Our electrical engineering program combines innovative fields like audio/image processing, wireless communications, and nanotechnology with foundational areas such as electronic design, circuits, electromagnetics, optics, solid-state devices and control systems.

Union’s EE program fosters collaboration, research, and hands-on experimentation. Students can engage in summer research fellowships, present at symposia, and participate in Union’s Steinmetz Symposium. Recent projects include an athletic recovery device, chaos-based radar systems, and radar imaging using semiconductor lasers.
