The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department is responsible for ensuring the Union College community is provided a safe campus environment in which to learn, work and visit. We are highly trained safety professionals who are dedicated to preventing injuries and fires, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing harmful impacts to the environment.
EHS provides safety training for employees and students, hazard assessments for work spaces and procedures, manages hazardous waste and inspections for fire safety systems, oversees various safety committees and is a resource for the community for implementing safety measures for campus events and projects.
