- There is no application fee for students applying Early Decision.
- Early Decision candidates are favored in the admissions process.
- Prioritized financial aid and scholarship consideration:
- Need-based aid: Union is need aware in the admission process. Early decision applicants are the very first students we package. As a result, we are able to admit some early decision applicants whose need is higher than we would be able to fund in later rounds.
- Merit aid: Domestic early decision applicants who qualify for merit-based aid are automatically eligible for an early enrollment award.
About Early Decision at Union:
- To be considered for Early Decision, applicants submit the Early Decision Agreement (Common App ED form or Coalition ED form) with your application.
- First quarter senior grades are required.
- ED applicants for financial aid must submit the required financial aid documents by the application deadline.
- There are three possible decisions extended to ED applicants: admit, defer to the regular applicant pool or deny.
- If admitted, Early Decision candidates are committed to attend Union. After enrolling, they must withdraw all applications to other colleges and universities.
