Faculty and staff members are often a key part of the fellowships application process, fulfilling a variety of roles for the student:

• identifying talented students and notifying the Fellowships Office
• giving students the confidence needed to apply for an award
• sharing expertise and mentoring students as they put together research and project proposals
• writing letters or completing forms of recommendation

If you identify a student whom you believe would be a good applicant for a Fellowship or Scholarship, please email me directly at evansl@union.edu.
