Services are provided to students who are transferring (or considering transferring) to Union College. Our staff are available to facilitate your transition to the Union community by connecting you to support services on campus, as well as to the College's wealth of academic and social opportunities.
Information on the transfer admissions process
You are invited to attend and participate in all activities that are planned for incoming first-year students, unless otherwise indicated. During Orientation, you will have your own Transfer Orientation Leader to help you navigate the program and your transition to Union along with the other transfer students in your group.
If you have requested placement in a first-year building, you will be assigned to a group with other first-year students. You will receive an email in early August regarding your housing placement.
Also, sophomore or junior transfer students wishing to keep a car on campus will need to register their vehicle with Campus Safety.
Contact Kate Schurick, Dean of First-Year Students, or Aileen Schatz, Director of the First-Year Experience, with questions. We look forward to making your transition as smooth and successful as possible.
