The Valerie J. Hoffman ('75) Lecture Series

This series features established and emerging feminist scholars who emphasize the links between feminist politics, the struggle for racial justice and human rights activism.

Katharine (Kitty) Van Meter Sadock was an artist — a painter, a designer, a jeweler, a sculptor, an actor, and a writer. To honor his wife and support the women’s studies program, Dr. Theodore Sadock (Class of 1933) endowed a lecture series in 2001. With the diversity of Kitty Sadock’s involvement in the arts in mind, the GSWS Program has brought a variety of artists to Union: painter, filmmaker, performance artist, folk singer, poet, dancer, among others.
