Each of the Minerva houses has a seminar room that is equipped with a limited amount of technology. In keeping with the President's initiative to build a close relationship between academic and student life, the rooms are available to both students and faculty to use. each room contains a motorized projection screen, a ceiling-mounted data projector, and a DVD/VCR combo unit. A panel in the room provides the capability for a laptop computer to be plugged in and projected. All of the equipment is controlled through a panel that is located in a technology closest in the room. Instructions and troubleshooting guides are posted in each room. VGA and network cables, as well as a remote control for the DVD/VDC combo player are provided. There is also a campus phone in each of the control closets in case of any problems. The Control Closet in each room is accessible by card access only.
As with the other, more traditional electronic classrooms on campus, training is required to used the technology in the rooms.
The Minerva seminar rooms may be scheduled through Central Scheduling.
