Biography

Prof. García is a member of the Advisory Board of the Latin American & Caribbean Studies (LACS) program at Union College. He received his B.A. from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez, and M.A. and Ph.D. from Rutgers University (New Brunswick, NJ). At Union College, he has served as director of LACS (1999–2006) and Chair of Modern Languages and Literatures (2003-06).
