First Coast Opera will stage “La Bohème,” directed by Helena Binder '76, Dec. 30 - 31. Binder returns to First Coast Opera after directing "Opera Mystique" in February.

Andrea Barrett '74 recently wrote a piece for the New York Times, titled "A Swift, Opinionated Portrait of Willa Cather." Barrett is the author of “Natural History,” the National Book Award-winning “Ship Fever” and other works of fiction newly reissued in paperback.
Desirée Plata '03 was featured in MIT News in an article about her "lifelong mission to make sustainability a bigger factor in design decisions." Plata is an associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at MIT.
Karson Saunders '23 added another accomplishment to her Union softball career when she was recognized as a Top 30 honoree for the 2023 NCAA Woman of the Year Award in October.
Paul J. Deguire III '06 and Shuron Morton '97 were recently inducted into the Christian Brothers Academy Athletic Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony was held Oct. 7.
