On May 17, 2019, the GSWS program hosted the annual Alumnae Tea. GSWS majors gave poster presentations of their theses, after which attendees engaged in a lively discussion of the upcoming 50th anniversary celebration of women students at Union College. The discussion was facilitated by Susan Mullaney Maycock '72, member of the President’s Council and co-founder of the Byron Nichols Endowed Fellowship for Faculty Development, and Jillmarie Murphy, director of the GSWS program and associate professor of English. The event was attended by alumnae, current students, faculty and staff.
