Adam Lewin ’14 is this week’s Kenney Community Center Volunteer of the Week.
Lewin is a founding member of the new Student Volunteer Committee at the Kenney Center. This group helps plan and run service events on campus and in the community. Lewin also serves on the Service Saturday Committee, and was instrumental in running the center’s first Science Day for local fourth and fifth graders last month. Lewin also tutors an eighth grade student every week at the center and volunteered at UCARE Day.
“Adam is one of our best new volunteers,” said Janet Sweeney, program director for the Kenney Center. “He is very dedicated and dependable.”
Lewin, from Wayland, Mass., plans to major in economics and minor in philosophy. He also currently works as an intern for a start-up company near Boston called Ready To Ball Incorporated.
