"The Light in the Film," a collection of poems by Jordan Smith, professor of English, has been published by the University of Tampa Press. This is his sixth full-length collection.
An article by Kenneth DeBono, the Gilbert R. Livingston Professor of Behavioral Science, and Victoria Pagano ’08 was published in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology. “The effects of mood on moral judgments: The role of self-monitoring,” based on Pagano’s senior thesis examines the impact mood has on moral judgments and how those effects are moderated by aspects of a person’s personality.
Stephen Dare, vice president for College Relations, and Debra Geer, director of college initiatives, will present at the annual conference of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education being held in New York City Jan. 22-24. Dare and Geer will discuss the College’s President’s Council and its leadership, strategy and resources.
Robert Sharlet, the Chauncey Winters Research Professor of Political Science, made a presentation at the annual national meeting of the Association of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies in Washington, D.C. He spoke on “The Social Science Legacy” on the Robert C. Tucker legacy panel, which completed a year-long discussion of the late Princeton scholar.
