The Union College men's hockey team clinched the NCAA Division I East Regional hockey championship Saturday, defeating UMass-Lowell, 4-2. With the win, the Dutchmen advance to the Frozen Four for the first time in the program's history.
Union will face Ferris State at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, in Tampa, Fla. The other semifinal pits Boston College against Minnesota. The winners of Thursday's matchups will meet for the national championship Saturday, April 7.
