This week’s Kenney Community Center’s Volunteer of the Week is Rebecca Robinson ’12.
Serving as a founding member and co-president of the Math Club, treasurer of the French Club and two-year member and house coordinator of the Culinary House, Robinson dedicates much of her time to volunteering and leadership.
As a first-year student and sophomore, Robinson participated in the COCOA House and with Campus Kitchens. Following her first year preceptorial course, Robinson and three others even began their own community service program, which involved assisting the Schenectady Salvation Army serve food to families in need, a program that the Kenney Center still maintains. That same year, Robinson also spoke at Steinmetz Day about her experience and desire to incorporate more community service into the preceptorial curriculum.
Originally from Lebanon, N.H., Robinson is a French and math major, as well as an active member of the Ski Club.
