This week’s Kenney Community Center’s Volunteer of the Week is Min Yu ’15.
Yu is a member of ASME and the Asian Student Union, and he has participated on John Calvin Toll Day and volunteers at the Homework Program at the Kenney Center. He is also the treasurer of Engineers Without Borders, through which he has organized various flood clean-ups in both Schoharie and Rotterdam Junction over the past two years.
Over the weekend, Yu presented an engineering workshop to middle and high school students through the STEP program, where he taught about circuits, as well as showed the students how to launch air-powered rockets.
Originally from Hanover, N.H., Yu is a mechanical engineering major.
