WAMC Northeast Public Radio's long-running program, "The Media Project" will bring its show to campus on Tuesday, May 21, from 12:55 to 1:45 p.m. in the Nott Memorial.
The event, part of the Tuesday common hour series, is free and open to the campus community.
The show, which has aired for more than 20 years, is an inside look at media coverage of current events. It features Alan Chartock, president and CEO of WAMC Northeast Public Radio, Rex Smith, vice president and editor of the Times Union in Albany, and Rosemary Armao, a former newspaper reporter and editor who teaches journalism at the University at Albany.
The panel will tape the half-hour show in the Nott for a future airing. A question and answer session follows. "The Media Project" airs Sundays at 6 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m.
