John Bolton, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, will speak
Tuesday, May 5, at 7 p.m. in Memorial Chapel.
His talk, “Iran and the Contemporary Middle East,” is part of the Frederic E. Miller Lecture Series in Honor of Anwar Sadat. It is free and open to the public.
Bolton is a senior fellow on U.S. foreign and national security policy in the conservative think tank American Enterprise Institute.
Bolton was appointed as U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and served as Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security under President George W. Bush.
A Fox News Channel commentator, Bolton was a foreign policy adviser to 2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
He is the author of several books about American foreign policy, including How Barack Obama is Endangering our National Sovereignty and Surrender Is Not an Option: Defending America at the United Nations and Abroad.
