The U.S. Small Business Administration recently announced that Mark Walsh '76 will serve as associate administrator for the Office of Investment & Innovation, which administers the agency’s Small Business Investment Companies and Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. In Walsh’s new role, he will oversee an office that has supplied equity capital, long term loans and management assistance to qualifying small businesses through its SBIC program since 1959.
Walsh recently finished a term as chair of Union's Board of Trustees. He graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and received his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University in 1980.
