The College has been selected to host the only U.S. Senate debate between incumbent New York Democrat Charles Schumer and the Republican challenger, Wendy Long.
The debate will be 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, in the Nott Memorial.
It will be televised live by Time Warner Cable News (TWC News) and TWC News NY1 (NY1). Locally, it will air on channels 1, 9 and 200.
NY1 political anchor Errol Louis and TWC News political anchor Liz Benjamin will co-moderate the 60-minute debate.
The event is closed to the public. The College received a limited amount of tickets for the campus community to attend. Those tickets have been claimed.
Both campaigns will also use space in Lippman Hall as part of the debate.
