An engineering project by Kyle Stengel ’18 and overseen by James Hedrick, senior lecturer of electrical engineering, was featured during the New York State Industries for the Disabled’s CREATE Symposium. The project, an automated greenhouse, was created in partnership with the Schenectady ARC. The event was held at the Legislative Office Building in Albany. NYSID brings member agencies together with local engineering students to apply their classroom success to help workers with disabilities become more productive.
