“Speaking Pictures,” a talk by author Adrian Frazier, will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday Oct. 2 in Karp Hall 105.
The event is a launch of "Hat and Key," a limited edition of broadsides with images by Walter Hatke, the May I and Walter C. Baker Professor of Visual Arts Emeritus, and poems by Jordan Smith, the Edward E. Hale Professor of English.
Frazier, a former Union faculty member who recently retired from NUI Galway, is the author of several books of biography and cultural history, including George Moore, Hollywood Irish, and Adulterous Muse, and is currently at work on a biography of poet John Montague.
This event is sponsored by the English Department and the Winifred and John Smith fund for Literary Activities.
