“Black Lives and the Legacy of George Floyd: A Conversation” is the topic of an event on Monday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
Minister, activist and scholar Nyle Fort will moderate the 60-minute webinar with ample time for Q&A. The conversation will explore the shock waves of George Floyd’s death, the Movement for Black Lives, the crisis of policing in America and the meaning of justice. Joining Mr. Fort will be two members of George Floyd’s family: his uncle, Selwyn Jones, and his aunt, Angela Harrison.
