Joel Blumenthal '69

At WRUC, I was at various times sports director and play-by-play man, quiz show (Knowledge Bowl) contestant, host and DJ.

Since 1969 I have worked as a clinical social worker, a radio and newspaper reporter, a political campaign consultant, a marketing communications consultant and, for 10 years, associate vice president and chief communications officer for the University at Albany.

My longest career is as a tax professional working for H&R Block since 2004. I previously taught the basic tax course to new tax pros and advanced courses to continuing tax pros.
