Kimmo Rosenthal, professor emeritus of mathematics, will have his essay, “Magritte’s Aerial Imagination,” appear in Big City Lit. The essay relates the painting The Domain of Arnheim by René Magritte to the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe using some ideas from Friedrich Nietzsche.
An op-ed by Christa Grant, assistant dean for Intercultural Affairs, was published on Insight Into Diversity. “Work in Solidarity to Address Anti-Asian Violence and Xenophobia” is co-authored by Gretchel Hathaway, the College’s former chief diversity officer, and D.
