Internationally-acclaimed Irish writer Anne Enright will give a reading of her recent work on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 5 p.m. in the Nott Memorial.
Her seven novels include The Gathering, which was the Irish Novel of the Year and won the Irish Fiction Award and the 2007 Man Booker Prize.
The Forgotten Waltz was awarded the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction. The Green Road, shortlisted for the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction and the International Dublin Literary Award, won the Kerry Group Irish Fiction Award.
Her honors also include being named Ireland's inaugural laureate for Irish fiction (2015-2018).
A regular writer for Irish Times and the New Yorker, she has published three collections of stories, collected as Yesterday’s Weather, and one book of non-fiction, Making Babies.
Her most recent novel is Actress (2020). Her upcoming novel, The Wren, is to be published later this year.
