Tim Olsen, professor of music and leader of the 16-piece Tim Olsen Big Band, will perform a program of original jazz and arrangements on Sunday, April 23, at 3 p.m. at Robb Alley in Proctors Theater, downtown Schenectady.

The event also features guitarist Wyatt Ambrose leading a trio at noon, and saxophonist Matt Steckler and his five-piece Matty Stecks and the 518 at 1:30 p.m.

The afternoon of live jazz is presented in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month by the Schenectady-Amsterdam chapter of the American Federation of Musicians.
