It’s that special time of year again, when students, alumni, families and friends gather together for a festive fall weekend full of all things Union. Come on out for perennial Homecoming favorites, like the tailgate picnic and harvest dinner, and don’t miss the chance to show your Charger pride at soccer, hockey and volleyball games.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to campus for a fun and memorable weekend,” said Molly Harbour, associate director of Alumni & Parent Engagement. “We have something for everyone to enjoy while we celebrate our Union community.”
To help set the mood, College Relations, Communications and Marketing and the Union Bookstore have partnered to create a campus Spirit Day Friday, Oct. 18.
All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to show their Garnet Chargers pride by wearing Union gear to campus next Friday. Additionally, the Bookstore will be offering a 15 percent discount on all garnet-colored clothing from Oct. 14-17, both in the campus store and the online shop.
Everyone also is encouraged to snap a photo of themselves and/or their friends and post to social media and tag @UnionCollege with the hashtag #GarnetChargers.

Other athletic contests throughout the weekend include women’s soccer, volleyball and field hockey, and men’s ice hockey. Tickets are available for purchase on the Athletics site.
