Andrew Morris, professor of history, had an op-ed published in The Hill, "Get rid of FEMA? That would be a disaster."

An expert in federal disaster relief, Morris is the author of an upcoming book, “When Natural Disasters Became National Disasters: Hurricane Camille and the New Politics of Disaster Relief” (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2026).

He joined Union in 2003.
