This month marks the 50th anniversary of the theatrical release of "The Way We Were,” directed by Sydney Pollack and starring Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford.
The troupe will lead a master class for dance students Thursday, Oct. 19, 6-7:15 p.m., in the Henle Dance Studio. The class will be followed by a lecture by company director Debbie Blunden-Diggs, open to all, 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Professor of geosciences Holli Frey grew up Duane, N.Y., a town of 137 people in the northern Adirondacks, where her parents were the town supervisor and a tax collector/medical technologist, and also ran a cabin and boat rental business.
