Extracurriculars

Union has an active, accomplished Ethics Bowl Team, which regularly takes part in competitions focused on moral issues, including the National Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl Program and the Bioethics Bowl.

This is a forum for social and intellectual interaction among philosophers at Union. Activities range from planning a social event or a field trip to a nearby philosophy conference, to making suggestions to the faculty about what upper division courses should be taught. The Philosophy Club also publishes the Ephemeris, the premier undergraduate journal of philosophy originating in North America.
