Areas of interest
Maité Cruz specializes in early modern philosophy. Her research to date has focused on Hume’s epistemology and metaphysics. She has published articles on Hume’s theory of memory and on his views on the role of style in philosophical arguments. She is also interested in Shepherd’s theory of causation and in the history of Latin American philosophy. Before coming to Union College, she was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa.
