Academic Support at Union

The following Academic Support Centers are provided by academic departments to assist students with course content during the term.

  • Biology Backup

    Biology Backup is offering extra help on Tuesdays from 4:00pm - 6:00pm in ISEC 387 and on Fridays from 1:00pm - 3:00pm in ISEC 316.

  • Calculus Help Desk

    The Calculus Help Desk is available Sunday - Thursday from 7:30pm - 10pm in the Sorum House Seminar Room. Please visit the Calculus Help Center website for more information about sessions.

  • Chemistry

    The Chemistry Department is offering help for Introductory Chemistry on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7 - 9pm in ISEC 187.

    Help for Organic Chemistry is being offered on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7 - 9pm in ISEC 222. Please see the Chemistry Department website for more information.

  • Computer Science

    Students can visit the Computer Science Help Desk Sunday -Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in Olin 107.

  • Data Analytics

    The Data Analytics Help Desk will be available Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in Wold 010 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

  • Economics Support Center

    The Economics Support Center is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00pm - 9pm in Lippman 100. Tutors will be available for ECO 101, ECO 241, ECO 242, and ECO 243/243W.

  • Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering (ECBE)

    The ECBE Help Desk is available Sunday - Thursday from 5:00pm - 7:00pm in ISEC 124.

  • Geosciences

    Support for Geosciences is available Mondays from 7:00pm - 8:00pm, Wednesdays from 4:45pm - 5:45pm and Fridays from 2:00pm - 3:00pm in Olin 322.

  • Language Center

    The Language Center will be open Monday/Wednesday 10:00am - 8:00pm, Tuesday/Thursday 9am - 8pm, and Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm. Please see the Language Center website for more information on how to book an appointment.

  • Mechanical Engineering

    The Mechanical Engineering Help Desk is available Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in ISEC 220.

  • Office Hours

    Professors at Union hold weekly office hours to provide more content support to students. To see your Professor's individual office hours, please refer to your syllabus, Nexus page, or ask your professor.

  • Physics

    The Physics Study Center is offering drop-in hours to students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00pm - 10:00pm in ISEC 120.

  • Schaffer Library

  • Supplemental Instruction
