Responsibilities

Formulate & submit for General Faculty approval all policies and procedures for review of faculty members for renewal contract, promotion, tenure, and salary increments

Recommend policies for distribution of funds available for faculty salaries

Review individual faculty members in consideration of contract, promotion, tenure, and tenure-making recommendations in individual cases

Five senior faculty (one for each Division, one elected by faculty at-large)

Two junior faculty (one to represent the Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences divisions, and the other to represent the Science and Mathematics and Engineering and Computer Science divisions)

Dean of Faculty (ex-officio, without vote except if requested by Board in event of a tie)
