Bursar's Office

The Bursar’s Office provides billing and payment support to students, families, and staff. The Bursar’s Office includes the offices of the Bursar, Associate Bursar, and the Cashier and is located on the first floor of McKean house.

The Bursar’s office hours are 8:30 - 4:30 p.m. daily.

The Cashier’s window hours are 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. daily.

The Bursar’s Office provides information to our students and families through Self Service . Self Service also includes links to the electronic payment option, monthly payment plan, and the Haylor, Freyer, & Coon website for health insurance.

Student account statement information is available in Self Service for Students and Self Service for parents. Billing and payment information is updated daily.

Students need to grant proxy permissions to parents to view their student account in Self Service.

Each term, students and parents with proxy access will receive billing and payment information. Self Service has links to the electronic payment gateway, student health insurance, financial aid and monthly payment plans.

Parents do not have access to their student's grades in Self Service at the post secondary level per federal privacy regulations (FERPA). Students need to authorize the release of grades to their parents by filling out a form and submitting it in person to the Registrar's Office.

There are three billing dates for the Comprehensive Fee (Tuition and Fees) each year.

Charges for incidental billing such as Bookstore, Dining, and Health Services charges are added weekly with terms of net 30.

Original 1098T’s will be mailed to our domestic students on January 31 to the home address on file.

1098T’s copies for the current and previous years, are available to students in Self Service. Parents cannot access 1098T information in Self Service.

Should you need a copy of a 1098T, please have your student provide you with one.

Unfortunately, we cannot take copy requests over the phone. As per FERPA regulations, only individuals granted proxy access to a student's account my request a copy from the Bursar's office. Should you need a copy from the Bursar's office, please email your request to bursar@union.edu. Please include the student name and ID# in your email. After verifying proxy access, a copy will be emailed back to you with the Social Security number truncated.
