- Students may seek off-campus research opportunities during the summer. The Nexus site “Chemistry and Biochemistry Students” lists several off-campus research opportunities and scholarships. Students can also search for opportunities on the American Chemical Society GET experience website. Other opportunities include internships with the Department of Energy, the Department of Defense, and the National Institutes of Health.
