Research interests

Power system electromechanical mode estimation and forced oscillation detection and location using synchrophasors; digital forensics using power system frequency interference; ultra low cost phasor measurement unit design; audification of synchrophasors for power-grid-composed music; the use of a drum set as an education tool for understanding power grid signal processing approaches.

Teaching interests

Alternative energy, electric circuits, electric power, electromagnetics, and signal processing applications in power grids.
