An article by Luke Dosiek, associate professor of electrical, computer and biomedical engineering, was published in IEEE Transactions on Power Systems. “The Effects of Forced Oscillation Frequency Estimation Error on the LS-ARMA+S Mode Meter” explores a particular error propagation that can significantly affect the accuracy power grid stability estimation tools.
