Health Insurance Information

Union requires that all students have health and accident insurance.

Coverage is effective July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026 for International students and August 1, 2025 - July 31, 2026 for domestic students.

Domestic Students

Domestic students must actively ENROLL IN or WAIVE the Student Health Plan by September 20, 2025.

(Please note an insurance waiver is only good for one year and students need to waive student health insurance annually)

Coverage is effective August 1, 2025 through July 31, 2026 with an annual cost TBD. The health insurance coverage is with TBD.

International Students

International students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the annual insurance plan. This coverage is mandatory and cannot be waived. Coverage is effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 with an annual cost TBD. The health insurance coverage is with TBD.

Students who do not have dental coverage can access a voluntary plan through Aetna. This plan will be issued directly to the student and is not part of the Student Health Insurance Plan, with direct payments made to Aetna. Click here for more information.
