Job Title
Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Research interests
My research field is applied and computational mathematics, where I work on problems in numerical analysis, multiscale and stochastic modeling, and optimization problems with partial differential equations as constraints. I am most interested in conducting research that enhances our understanding, prediction, or control of physical phenomena. Recently, I have worked on projects related to homogenization theory, multiphase fluid mixtures, and optimization under uncertainty.
