Megan Flynn (she/her) is a dancer, choreographer, educator, and artistic director of the Philadelphia-based Megan Flynn Dance Company. She earned her MFA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine; Professional Diploma in Dance Studies from Laban (Trinity-Laban Conservatoire) in London; and her BFA in Dance, summa cum laude, from Newcomb College of Tulane University. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Dance at Muhlenberg College, and previously taught at UC Irvine, MiraCosta College, and Milton Academy. She is also a member of The NADINE Project, a choreographic collective under the direction of Janet Soares and Libby Nye.
Megan danced professionally in New York City, Boston, and throughout Europe, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland); and The Russia Project (Moscow, St. Petersburg and Ekaterinburg, Russia). Her choreography has been presented throughout the United States, Austria and southern Spain.
In summer 2021, Megan was an ATLAS choreographer-in-residence at the ImPulsTanz: Vienna International Dance Festival. She has served as a guest instructor for the Delaware Valley Dance Academy, Summer Stages Dance at Concord Academy and the Boston Ballet Summer School.
