Chef Patrick Longton came to Union in 2016 after serving as executive chef at Longfellows Hotel and Restaurant in Saratoga Springs for 10 years. He has spent the last 25 years working in hotels and restaurants, mainly in the Saratoga Springs area.
Jennifer Mitchell ’04 is an assistant professor of English who writes about gender, sexuality and modern and contemporary literature. She joined the Union faculty in 2015.
The senior associate director of Alumni and Parent Engagement joined Union in 2012. He loves the many opportunities he has to reconnect with old classmates and also help other alumni connect with the College.
Brianne Brinker, assistant athletic director for Facilities, is in her 17th year at Union. In her role, she is the event manager for all Union men's and women's ice hockey home contests.
Ken DeBono is the Gilbert R. Livingston Professor of the Behavioral Sciences. His main areas of research are the psychology of persuasion and the psychology of religion, although his favorite course to teach is “Introduction to Psychology.”
Andrew “Dru” Alvez is the assistant director of Intercultural Affairs. He is the liaison for all students of marginalized backgrounds and heads the Bridges First-Gen Mentorship Program.
The longest-tenured employee at 55 years, Joyce Chabot has spent most of her career as the proud sentinel of quality for nearly every piece of printed material produced by the College.
Chad Orzel is an associate professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He has been at Union since 2001, which he says makes him feel really old.
