Andrew “Dru” Alvez is the assistant director of Intercultural Affairs. He is the liaison for all students of marginalized backgrounds and heads the Bridges First-Gen Mentorship Program.

The Feigenbaum Assistant Professor of Behavioral Economics joined the College in 2016.

The longest-tenured employee at 55 years, Joyce Chabot has spent most of her career as the proud sentinel of quality for nearly every piece of printed material produced by the College.

Chad Orzel is an associate professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He has been at Union since 2001, which he says makes him feel really old.

Laura MacManus-Spencer is an associate professor of chemistry. She joined Union in 2006. Her area of research expertise is environmental chemistry.

Timothy Stablein, associate professor of sociology, studies adolescence, deviance and health. He joined Union in 2013.

Rebecca (Becky) Cortez is a professor of mechanical engineering and director of Engineering at Union. She is also serves as a faculty trustee.

Vernon Castillo, a senior associate dean of Admissions, joined Union in 2003. When not at work, he can be found on his farm with his wife, two sons, two dogs and many chickens.

Sheri Lullo is an associate professor of Asian art history. Her research focuses on the archaeology of ancient China, particularly items of personal adornment and dress. Professor Lullo began teaching at Union in 2011.

Cheryl Rockwood, head trainer and director of student athlete programming, joined the Union community in 1987.
