Vernon Castillo, a senior associate dean of Admissions, joined Union in 2003. When not at work, he can be found on his farm with his wife, two sons, two dogs and many chickens.
Sheri Lullo is an associate professor of Asian art history. Her research focuses on the archaeology of ancient China, particularly items of personal adornment and dress. Professor Lullo began teaching at Union in 2011.
Cheikh M. Ndiaye, associate professor of Modern Languages and Literatures, teaches French language and literatures from around the Francophone world, and has directed Union’s study-abroad programs in France, Martinique and Senegal.
Lori Marso is the Doris Zemurray Stone Professor of Modern Literary and Historical Studies, and professor of political science. She is also director of Africana Studies. She is a political theorist who writes books about feminist thinkers.
Joe Conti is the campus arborist. A certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture, he has a degree in urban tree management from Paul Smith's College. He joined Union in 2007.
Krisanna M. Scheiter is an associate professor of philosophy. Her area of expertise is ancient Greek and Roman philosophy with a focus on Plato and Aristotle, moral psychology and philosophy of emotion. She joined Union in 2012.
