Professor Christina Tonnesen-Friedman was awarded a 5-year Collaboration Grant for Mathematicians from the Simons Foundation for her work on “Special Metrics in Kaehler and Sasaki Geometry.”

The award allows Tonnesen-Friedman to continue collaboration efforts developed with her first grant and enabled Union College to hold the Union College Mathematics Conference in December of 2016.
