Union College NASA New York Space Grant Scholarship Program

This grant will directly support summer research fellowships for five undergraduate students. Awardees of these summer research experiences will participate in Union's active summer student seminar program, gaining experience presenting research results to their peers through oral and poster presentations. They will also present their results during campus research seminars such as the Department of Physics and Astronomy Summer Student Poster Session and the Steinmetz Symposium. Student travel to professional conferences and meetings, where students will have the opportunity to present to larger audiences and network with individuals in the field, will also be partially supported through this grant.
